Five offensive prospects to watch ahead of Ohio State June 13 camp

COLUMBUS — Welcome to camp season, Ohio State fans.

Yes, that wonderful time of year has officially struck. The Buckeyes opened their doors to hundreds, if not thousands, of high school football players starting June 5. Ohio State will host recruiting camps on June 6, 11, 13, 17 and a 7-on-7 tournament on 18. The teams making up the 7v7 are mostly from Ohio.

Lettermen Row does a quick dive into the June 13 lineup to look at five offensive prospects we are intrigued to watch perform.

Brody Lennon

Three-star Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy tight end Brody Lennon is scheduled to camp with the Buckeyes on Thursday. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Ohioan is the No. 598 overall prospect and the No. 31 tight end according to the On3 Industry Rankings, but don’t let that fool you.

Tight ends coach Keenan Bailey has been on Lennon for a while now and this workout is a big one. Ohio State already has one stud tight end in the 2025 class with On300 tight end Nate Roberts , but there is potential for a second one and that one could be Lennon. If he gets offered, he will be practical with a decision. If he doesn’t, Lennon isn’t short of options.

Derrek Cooper

Four-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla) Chaminade-Madonna Prep athlete Derrek Cooper will make his debut Ohio State visit on Thursday as he works out for running backs coach Carlos Locklyn. Cooper is the No. 17 overall prospect and the No. 2 athlete according to On3.

He committed to Georgia on June 6 and then decommitted just four days later.

Cooper holds an Ohio State offer.

Tyriq Green

Four-star Marietta (Ga) Kell athlete Tyriq Green is another southern prospect set to work for Locklyn at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Green is the No. 164 overall prospect and the No. 12 athlete per On3.

Green holds a nice collection of offers including Ohio State.

Carter Scruggs

Four-star Leesburg (Va) Loudoun County interior offensive lineman Carter Scruggs will make his debut Ohio State visit to work out for Justin Frye. Scruggs is the No. 126 overall prospect and the No. 8 interior offensive lineman per On3.

Scruggs holds offers from just about every major college football program except Ohio State.

Felix Ojo

Four-star Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo is another prospect who will make his debut visit to campus. He’s a big 6-foot-7, 274-pound prospect and a top 300 guy in the On3 Industry Rankings.

Ohio State has already offered 10 offensive tackles in the 2026 cycle. Will Ojo be No. 11?
