Would You Attend the Wedding? I find myself in a complicated situation and would love to hear your thoughts. My cousin and I have always been very close, almost like sisters. We grew up together, and I was there for her through thick and thin. When she had a baby, I was deeply involved, taking him out whenever I could. We even lived together for a while. As time passed, I moved to another state, and we didn't talk as much, but I always kept tabs on her son. He was a star athlete in high school, particularly as a baseball pitcher, and later went on to college to study medicine. He then met his girlfriend, who was studying to be a veterinarian. During a visit to my mom, I met his girlfriend. She seemed sweet at first, but a few months later, she cheated on him with his friend. They both quit school, and now he's an UberEats driver. She has since cut off all contact between him and our family, blocking us on the phone, social media, and every other form of communication. I can't stand her and feel she’s manipulative. They got married through the court and are now planning a wedding in November. Despite everyone planning as if I would attend, I noticed my name wasn't on the invitations. I, along with two other relatives, were supposed to cook the food for the party. Now, I'm unsure if I should even show up. I love my cousin dearly, but I have strong feelings against her. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? Would you attend the wedding or stay away? Please share your thoughts.
