But over the weekend, as temperatures hit 110 in the Central Valley town of Chowchilla, where Boulware was imprisoned at the Central California Women’s Facility, prisoner advocates and her family say she died due the heat nine years into her sentence.
Santa Monica Public Library's Montana Branch Introduces Convenient Self-Service Hours
In the latest move to increase its accessibility to the community, the Montana Branch of the Santa Monica Public Library has added self-service hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a convenience that allows pre-approved members to swipe their library cards and help themselves to a range of services. According to the City of Santa Monica, self-service hours will be available from 10 a.m. to noon, where patrons can engage with library resources including picking up reserved items and utilizing computer access without the presence of staff.
Warner Bros. Trades Burbank Studios in Sale-Leaseback Deal
Worthe Real Estate Group, QuadReal Property Group and Stockbridge Capital Group have purchased The Burbank Studios, a 27-acre film studio campus, from Warner Bros. Discovery for an undisclosed sum. Published reports put it at $375 million. The complex is located in Burbank’s Media District and totals 685,000 square feet, including eight existing sound stages, production and creative office space.

The Southern California native spent the last five years at Oregon State and was a major contributor with the Beavers over the last four seasons.
