Slash’s S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival hit Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Saturday.
Slash’s S.E.R.P.E.N.T. — Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance — Festival is a tribute to the blues. The traveling festival made a stop at The Greek Theater in L.A. Saturday night and Chris Robinson of the Black Crows joined Slash for a version of The Pusher. The Song made famous by Steppenwolf is featured along with Robinson on the album Orgy of the Damned. Most of the songs on the set are from the new album with a few extras like Stone Free by Jimi Hendriex, one I would like to hear. Chris Robinsons’ performance was what you would expect, GREAT, he even whipped out a harmonica for quick break before Slash launched into a taste solo.
