    Pennsylvania Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Homeless Man on Wiles Road in Coral Springs

    CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Coral Springs police have made an arrest in the killing of 28-year-old Kinolee Gardner – a homeless man found shot dead in front of a business on Wiles Road on July 2.

    Police announced Tuesday the arrest of 25-year-old Christian Isaiah Davis in Uniontown, Pa., which is southeast of Pittsburgh.

    Davis is charged with murder in the first degree with a firearm, according to a warrant.

    Police said in a statement that Davis confessed to the killing.

    He was taken to Fayette County Jail, pending extradition back to Broward County.

    The statement didn’t explain why Davis allegedly killed Gardner or how police tracked down Davis.

    A passerby found Gardner dead shortly after 9:30 a.m. at 10950 Wiles Road.

    He was near his encampment, the statement said.

    “Following a meticulous analysis of the evidence collected, it was determined that the suspect was likely staying somewhere in Uniontown,” the statement said.

    On Sunday, Coral Springs detectives, with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, located and arrested Davis at a home, the statement said.
