School Year 2024-2025 Universal Meals Program In CUSD
Coronado Unified School District (CUSD) announces its policy to serve nutritious meals every school day under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Breakfasts and lunches will be served free of charge every school day, but CUSD is still required to make eligibility determinations for free and reduced-price meals. Effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, children are considered eligible for free or reduced-price meals if the household income is less than or equal to the federal guidelines.
CUSD Trustees Hold Final Meeting Of The School Year
On Thursday, June 20, the Coronado Unified School District (CUSD) Board of Trustees reconvened for their final meeting of the 2023-24 school year. After rearranging the order of two items, the agenda was approved unanimously. Next, the Treasurer of the CoSA Foundation, Marnie Herndon, approached the podium to present a check to CUSD on behalf of the foundation. “We are proud to present a check for $150,000 as a donation to Coronado Unified School District, with heartfelt thanks for all that you do to support the CoSA community, our young artists, and the overall focus of arts in the entire district,” Herndon said to the Board as she presented the check.
