Everyone falls every once in a while and celebrities are no exception. Rising country star, Nate Smith proved that fact for us when he took an unexpected tumble during his opening performance for Morgan Wallen's One Night at a Time 2024 Tour.

While performing his song "World on Fire," Smith was walking between the front of the stage and the crowd when he fell headlong in front of the cheering fans. Smith took the fall with grace, immediately picking himself back up to continue singing to his cheering fans. Later, he posted the twist of fate on his instagram page saying, "The way I bounced back," and captioned the video with, "Well Crap."

Unsurprisingly, the post got a lot of traffic with over 144K views and plenty of comments to keep the humor of the situation alive.

Fellow country artist, Earnest commented, "These things happen." A similar situation had happened to Earnest in 2023 when he threw a rose into the crowd and the momentum took him off the stage.

Other commenters added their own humor by referencing his music and even complimenting him on the fall: "Handled it like a pro," "Most graceful fall I've seen," and "If you ain't falling you ain't doing it right" were among many of the remarks made by dedicated followers of the country star.

Despite the mishap, the night ended well for Smith and at the end of his performance he gave his bows. In another post, he thanked his family, fans and crew members for their support throughout the tour. "I feel like saying thank you would be such an understatement right now. We capped off the end of the One Night At A Time tour last night with @morganwallen in Vegas and it was an absolute amazing journey this yearđŸ”„ @morganwallen thanks for giving me a job!"

With the tour at a close, Nate Smith has a lot to look forward to as he will be headlining his own tour "Through the Smoke," which will feature his newest album Bulletproof. The tour is scheduled to begin on September 19 in Portland, Oregon and will continue through Dec. 5.
