Bristol County District Attorney is still investigating the cause of the crash. A 62-year-old man from Hull was struck and killed by a car Sunday morning in North Attleboro. According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office, North Attleboro Police responded to 178 Commonwealth Ave. at around 9:24 a.m. for a report of a motor vehicle hitting a pedestrian.
Man killed in New Bedford shooting remembered as ‘kindest, sweetest soul’
A 44-year-old man killed in a shooting in New Bedford last week was remembered in his obituary as a devoted father who loved nothing more than being a dad. Aaron Britto, of New Bedford, was found injured behind Morna Lounge and Grill around 1:35 a.m. on Aug. 4 and later taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Barry Medeiros ID’d as construction worker who fell to death in Boston
A construction worker who fell to his death at a construction site in downtown Boston on Friday afternoon was identified by officials on Tuesday as a 43-year-old man. Barry Medeiros, of Taunton, was killed when he fell from a construction site at 219 Tremont St., the address for the Cutler Majestic Theatre on Emerson College’s campus, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden’s office. Police were notified of his fall around 12:45 p.m. on Friday.
