Man dies after car crashes along highway in Durham, police say
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Police in Durham closed part of U.S. 15/501 Sunday after a deadly car crash in the area between Morreene Road and N.C. 751. The crash was first reported around 5:35 p.m. Sunday in the southbound area of the highway, according to a statement from the Durham Police Department.

2 Durham cyclists injured after getting hit by pickup truck, police says
Two women riding bikes were injured after getting hit by a pickup truck in Durham, police said.It happened Saturday before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Primitive Street and Oakwood Avenue.SEE ALSO | Motorcyclist dies after crashing into two vehicles on Durham highway, police sayAccording to investigators, the pickup truck fled the scene.One of the cyclists was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
