    Plenty of adventures in July at Crestline Public Library

    CRESTLINE − Crestline Public Library's Adventure Begins at Your Library summer reading program continues into July. Programs for all ages planned through the end of the month are:

    July 10, 5:30 p.m. - Adventures in Beekeeping: Dave Duncan will discuss beekeeping.

    July 16, 5:30 p.m. - Cake Decorating Adventures: Pam Sand will demonstrate and teach cake decorating skills. The cost for materials is $35 and due at the time of registration. Sign up at the library.

    July 24, 1 p.m. - Adventures in Hiking: Author Brandon Weis will recount his hikes through major U.S. hiking trails. He will have his book, "This is Going to Hurt," to purchase.

    July 31, 5:30 p.m. - World traveler Nancy Fisher will discuss her adventures.

    Children's summer reading program events

    July 9, 10 a.m. - Pet Parade and Gorman Nature Center. Take one stuffed animal for the parade. After the parade, stay for a presentation about animals.

    July 16, 10 a.m. - Mr. Puppet returns to the library.

    July 23, 10 a.m. - Adventures on the Railroad: Kevin Taylor of the CSX Railroad will discuss his job. The program is for the whole family

    July 30, 10 a.m. - Joanie Calem will present Singing Books and Story Songs for all ages.
