Creston Police Report Two Arrests
(Creston) Creston Police report two arrests. One arrest involved a failure to appear warrant, and the other a drug-related charge. Police on Friday arrested 40-year-old Arturo Marin of Creston at 302 N. Pine Street/Law Enforcement Center on a Union County Warrant for Failure to Appear for Driving with a Revoked License. Marin was transported to the Union County Jail. Authorities released Marnin after he posted the $1,000 cash bond.
Property damage accident in Creston Thursday evening
(Creston, Iowa) – A collision in Creston Thursday evening caused a police estimated, $5,500 damage, but there were no injuries. Authorities say a 2020 Chevy Equinox driven by 19-year-old Lucas Rushing, of Creston, was traveling east on Townline Street at around 6:20-p.m., and attempting to turn right onto N. Vine Street, when the SUV failed to stay in its own lane.
