Panther Softball Score 20 Runs on Eagles
The Panorama Panther softball team had their final regular season game in Afton against the East Union Eagles, resulting in the Panthers claiming a 20-8 victory over the Eagles. Panorama would score a run in the top of the first but East Union would respond quickly and take the lead, notching in three runs of their own in the bottom of the first. This would light a fire under the Panthers, who would score six runs to take a 7-3 lead and would not look back. Panorama would score every inning, and would notch in another six runs in the final inning of the contest resulting in a 20-8 landslide victory for the Panorama Panthers.
KMAland Baseball (7/3): Creston goes 2-0 in H10, Clarinda knocks off Harlan
(KMAland) -- Creston grabbed two H10 wins, Clarinda picked up a shutout of Harlan, Glenwood & LC also won in the league, Heelan & SCN swept MRC doubleheaders & Red Oak, D-S, Lo-Ma, TJ, IKM-M, Audubon, Underwood, Woodbine, MSTM, Melcher-Dallas, CRB & SC West were other area baseball winners on Wednesday.
Lenox softball looking to flip the script in third try against Mount Ayr
(Lenox) -- Lenox head softball coach Mandy Stoaks hopes the third time's the charm when her team gets Mount Ayr in a Class 1A Region 4 opener Monday night. The Tigers just wrapped up a 13-18 regular season with wins over Bedford (twice), East Union (twice), Central Decatur (twice), Stanton, Southwest Valley, Melcher-Dallas, Nodaway Valley and East Mills.
