    Creston Police Arrest Two People on Child Endangerment Charges

    (Creston) Creston Police arrested two people on child endangerment charges over the weekend.

    Police say 30-year-old Laura Cecilia Zapata Gonzales of Lenox and 24-year-old Julissa Padilla of Lenox face charges of child endangerment and substantial risk. Gonzales faces an additional charge of OWI, 1st Offense. The two were arrested at Highway 34 and Cromwell Road on Saturday at 3:29 a.m. Officers transported both Gonzales and Padilla to the Union County Jail. Authorities released them after they posted the bond.

    Creston Police released the following arrests:

    *On July 5-Yarioska Rondoncama, 40, 331 Alabama Ave 3K, Brooklyn, NY, was arrested at 900 S Sumner. Rondoncama was charged with DRIVING WHILE REVOKED. Rondoncama was cited and released on a promise to appear.

    *On July 6, Tammy Jo Coleman, 43, 4125 Enden Ln, Des Moines, was arrested at HWY 34/Wyoming Ave. Coleman was charged with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, MARIJUANA 1st, as well as OWI – 1st Offense. Coleman was taken to the Union County Jail, where they later bonded out.

    *On July 6, Holly Renee Donehoo, 38, 801 S Henderson Dr, Mount Ayr, was arrested at Howard/Walnut. Donehoo was charged with DRIVING SUSPENDED. Donehoo was cited and released on a promise to appear.

    *On July 7, William Albert IV Bethke, 34, 1791 Post Ave, Sharpsburg, was arrested at Cromwell Rd/HWY 34. Bethke was charged with OWI – 1st Offense. Bethke was taken to the Union County Jail on a bond of $1000.

    *On July 7, Nathaniel Darnell Bifford, 34, 601 W Adams, was arrested at the intersection of Adams and Maple. Bifford was charged with Driving while Suspended. Bifford was cited and released on Promise to Appear.

    *On July 7, Robbie Allen Dohrn, 59, 301 W Adams, was arrested at the intersection of Page and Walnut. He was charged with an Adams County Warrant for FTA and taken to the Union County Jail, where he was later released on a $50 cash-only bond.

    *On July 7, Sherrence Patricia Kilgore, 39, Greenfield, was arrested on a Union County Warrant for the original FTA charge of Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled, or Revoked. Kilgore was taken to the Union County Jail, where she was later released on a $300 cash or surety bond.
