Post-tornado Greenfield on RAGBRAI route
(Greenfield) -- RAGBRAI riders will get a glimpse of a community still recovering from a major disaster. Thousands of cyclists and support vehicles are expected to stop in Greenfield en route from Atlantic to Winterset in Tuesday's leg of the Des Moines Register's Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. Carol Woosley is an assistant with the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce. Woosley tells KMA News part of the route rolls through portions of the community devastated by the EF-4 tornado more than two months ago.

Two Men Arrested on Assault Charges in Red Oak
(Red Oak) The Red Oak Police Department reports two arrests. Police arrested 34-year-old Kristopher Carl Friesenhahn of Red Oak on Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of N. 2nd Street on a charge of Simple Assault. Officers transported Friesenhahn to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $300 bond.
