After a rather dry weekend, the rain chances will begin to climb

Weather Headline: Another rather dry day, rain chances increase Monday.

What We Are Tracking : A weak low pressure area in the NW Gulf remains disorganized with no real changes over the last few days. A very slight chance of development is there, but likely to remain weak overall. This area will meander around the NW Gulf for most of the week.  Add to this a weak cold front slowly sinking southward into the Crossroads during the week, will keep high rain chances through about Thursday or so. Cold front will pass through on Thursday early, which will bring in some dryer air, helping to reduce rain chances and the sunshine to return. Highs in the low to mid 90's, lows in the 70's.

A Closer Look: A better coverage of rainfall Monday through midweek. Some thunderstorms could contain heavy rainfall. Less rain chances Friday into the weekend.

Plan My Day: Victoria: Scattered thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. Highs near 90, lows in the 70's.
