Though a mere two and half centuries from present-day, it is hard to imagine the level of passion, tenacity, courage, and belief in the Divine rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that inspired colonists to take on the then-greatest military power in the Northern Hemisphere. But thanks to Fort Ticonderoga, visitors will be able to get a glimpse of the human experience that shaped history.
