Man convicted of sex crimes sentenced

Mansfield, Pa. — A Florida man was sentenced to 5-12 years in state prison for having a sexual relationship with a teen girl.

Brandon O'Neal Allen, of Davenport, Fla. pleaded guilty to felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and corruption of minors during a court proceeding in May. Police began an investigation in December into allegations Allen was sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl in the fall of 2023.

State Trooper Joshua Fisher charged Allen with ten counts of sexual offenses. Prosecutors dropped eight of those charges in exchange for his guilty plea earlier this year.

As part of his sentence, Allen will serve three years of state mandated probation at the end of his 12-year sentence and be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
