Howard County Police Respond to Shooting
Howard County police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Columbia in which one person sustained a non-life-threatening injury. At approximately 10:25 p.m. on July 25, police responded to the 9600 block of Whiteacre Road for a report of gunshots and located an 18-year-old male with a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and has since been released.
