    Deck collapses in Prince George’s County, fire officials say

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A townhome deck collapsed on Saturday afternoon in Laurel, according to the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD).

    At around 2:55 p.m., the department responded to the 16000 block of Dorset Rd. for a collapsed deck.

    Responders rescued a woman and transported her to the hospital for evaluation, according to PGFD. Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services also provided rescue assistance.

    The building inspector was also on the scene.
