PHOTOS: Montgomery County firefighters, officials welcome students back to school

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Crews from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) welcomed students back for their first day of classes on Monday morning.

In a post on X , MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said firefighters joined school officials at Pine Crest Elementary School in Silver Spring to give students a warm welcome.

The fire crew from station 706 also stopped by Bethesda Elementary School on Arlington Road to welcome students and faculty.
