Another arrest made in connection to November murder in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) arrested a second man they believe was involved in a fatal shooting that happened last year .

De’Shaun McCrimmon, 22, was charged with first-degree murder after 20-year-old Orlando Alexander Satz, Jr. died on Nov. 28, 2023.

On that Tuesday, police said Satz, Jr. crashed into a parked car on Spruell Drive. First responders found gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another suspect believed to be the getaway driver, 24-year-old Jose Ramon Ventura, was arrested in June. MCPD believe he drove McCrimmon and another suspect believed to be responsible for the fatal shooting.

Ventura was charged with accessory after the fact.

McCrimmon was arrested on Aug. 27 in Silver Spring and is awaiting a bond hearing at Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
