    Southern portions of Prince George’s County asked to conserve water

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — WSSC Water asked portions of southern Prince George’s Countyto be conservative about their water usage for a few days starting Wednesday.

    WSSC Water issued an essential-water-use-only request for people in Clinton, Rosaryville, Marlton, Brandywine, Accokeek and portions of Fort Washington. The request will begin at 8 p.m. on Sept. 4 and will last for about three days.

    PGPD donates money to help Fairmont Heights High School football team tackle season

    The request is due to crews replacing a “failing section of major water main” under Dower House Road.

    WSSC Water recommends that residents in the impacted area do laundry and dishes before the request goes into effect.
