A 5-year-old twin died after his foster mom left him trapped in a vehicle for seven hours in 89-degree heat, police said — the 10th hot-car fatality in the US this year.

The tragedy happened Wednesday in Omaha, Nebraska, when Juanita Pinon, 40, allegedly left her foster son, Dionicio Perez, inside a scorching SUV in a parking lot outside the beauty salon where she worked.

Prosecutors said Pinon, who has a rap sheet dating back to 2016, parked her car and then went to work. It wasn’t clear whether Perez’s death was intentional or an accident.

NewsOne stated that police were responding to a call of a man, suspect Anthony George, with a knife in a domestic dispute. This resulted in the deaths of both George and little Terrell, and the officer responsible will not be charged.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has issued a state of emergency in Northeast Florida and across much of the state as a tropical system appears almost certain to develop. The National Hurricane Center said Friday morning that a tropical wave has a 90% chance of developing into at least a tropical depression over the next seven days. Taberon Dave Honie, 48, was convicted of aggravated murder in the July 1998 death of Claudia Benn.
