Man hospitalized following Montgomery shooting
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - One man is in the hospital following a shooting in Montgomery, according to the Montgomery Police Department. Authorities responded to the 3600 block of Woodley Road on a report of a shooting shortly before 2 p.m. Friday. On the scene, police found an unidentified man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

State Sen. Garlan Gudger Jr., 49, sustained severe injuries after a relative hit the back of his Sea-Doo with his own, authorities said. Montgomery police investigate shooting that killed two teens
A shooting in Montgomery killed a 17-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy Monday morning, police say. Police and fire medics responded to the shooting at about 4:14 a.m. in the 3900 block of Marie Cook Drive, where they found the girl with a fatal gunshot wound, Maj. Saba Coleman said in an email.
