(Creston) -- Two Creston suspects face charges following separate incidents on Friday. The Creston Police Department says 23-year-old Kristina Gale Marcum of Creston was arrested shortly before 11 a.m. on an outside agency warrant and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon. (Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is investigating a bright blue liquid observed near the East Nishnabotna River in Oakland, Pottawattamie County.On August 22, the DNR Field Office in Atlantic received reports of a blue liquid in an inlet area on the east bank. According to information provided anonymously to the DNR, the blue liquid was first observed around August 11.

Trailer placement discussion expected at Tuesday Shen council meeting
(Shenandoah) -- Shenandoah officials are looking at possible regulations regarding where trailers are placed on properties. Discussion regarding the location of travel and camping trailers, mobile homes and portable buildings is an agenda item for the Shenandoah City Council Tuesday evening at 6 at City Hall. City Administrator A.J. Lyman tells KMA News the council is expected to consider an ordinance drafted by Shenandoah City Attorney Mahlon Sorensen.

(Anita, Iowa) – (Updated 6:12-a.m.) No injuries were reported following a residential structure fire early this (Monday) morning, in Anita. Anita and Wiota Fire crews were dispatched at around 2:19-a.m. to a home at 206 Cherry Street, where smoke was seen coming from the structure. Main Street Coon Rapids Is Bringing The Circus To Town Tuesday Night
The Culpepper & Merriweather (C&M) Circus is coming to Coon Rapids with two shows full of non-stop entertainment. Tomorrow (Tuesday) evening, C&M Circus will perform at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Beck’s Hybrids town parking lot located on Railway St. between Fifth and Sixth Avenue. Everyone is invited to witness Leo the Clown, lions, tigers, horses, acrobats, and much more. Presale tickets are available on C&M Circus website until 10 p.m. tonight (Monday) for a discounted price. A link to the website is included with this story on carrollbroadcasting.com. Tickets can otherwise be purchased at the event for $16 for adults, $9 for kids and seniors, and children aged two and under can get in for free. Greene County Sheriff's Office investigating deadly car crash
SCRANTON, Iowa — A man was killed in Greene County Sunday night after he lost control and was thrown from the truck he was driving. According to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, 29-year-old Matthew Hopkins was driving north of Scranton around 11 p.m. Sunday when he lost control and was thrown from the truck. He died at the scene.
