A man and a juvenile robbed, attacked victims in Dekalb: Police

DEKALB, Ill. (WTVO) — Dekalb Police arrested Jacques Alexander, 19, and a 15-year-old juvenile for allegedly robbing and battering victims.

On July 1st, police responded to the 800 block of Ridge Drive for a reported robbery. Victims told detectives they were battered and robbed by two masked individuals.

The suspects took a cell phone among other items, according to authorities. The victims identified Alexander from a photo lineup and the juvenile from social media photos.

Officials obtained and executed a search warrant for Alexander’s residence. They found the victim’s iPhone, house keys, identification card, credit card and EBT card.

Both of the suspects are being charged with robbery, aggravated battery and mob action.
