Get ready to pedal through picturesque landscapes and experience the great outdoors as you join fellow cycling enthusiasts for "A Ride of 4 Trails in Delaware." This 25-mile journey promises to be a delightful excursion for riders of all levels. Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 18th, from 5pm to 10pm, and make sure not to miss this trail-blazing adventure.

The ride will kick off at 120 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE, taking cyclists through the scenic trails of Cape Henlopen State Park and along the Gordon’s Pond Trail. Participants will then hit a stretch of road to connect with the Junction and Breakwater Trail, eventually reaching the Lewes - Georgetown trail. With a mix of gravel and blacktop terrain, a hybrid bike is the recommended companion for this ride.

An added perk for early birds, a bonus ride is set for Friday afternoon, leading up to Ocean City, Maryland, with stops at Indian River Inlet and the bridge over the Indian River Outlet. Post-ride, the group will reconvene for a communal dinner, setting the stage for Saturday's main event.

Safety is paramount, so helmets are a must, and riders are encouraged to bring a tube for any unexpected flats, as well as a rear light for road sections. After working up an appetite, the group can look forward to ice cream in Rehoboth and a dinner to cap off the day.

Interested participants must RSVP to join this popular trail ride. For more information, reach out to Richard Conner, the ride leader, at 717-572-8480. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of the cycling community and the beauty of Delaware's trails.
