Town making safety upgrades in Canyon Falls
There are some safety upgrades happening in Canyon Falls, the town of Flower Mound announced Sunday. The City of Denton celebrated several achievements, including victories by local competitors at the Texas Solid Waste Association’s 2024 State Road-E-O, and a commendation for Denton Municipal Electric’s storm restoration efforts. In response to Memorial Day storm damage, the Solid Waste and Recycling Department executed a large-scale debris removal operation. Maintenance at the Natatorium will cause temporary closures and schedule changes, and various updates are provided in the ITS Monthly Mobility Report. DTV released educational videos highlighting community events and responses to the storm. Additionally, survey responses were shared with the Council, and inquiries about displaying banners on the Square clarified that only City-sponsored and university banners are permitted.
