    13-year-old missing after allegedly taking mother’s car, abandoning it in Denver

    DENVER (KDVR) — A 13-year-old was last seen Saturday night in Littleton after apparently taking her mom’s car and crashing it in Denver.

    According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, 13-year-old Maya Poza s was last seen at her home near the corner of Kipling Parkway and Bowles Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Law enforcement said the teen took her mother’s Toyota Avalon and crashed it in the 4700 block of Vine Street in Denver overnight.

    Maya abandoned the car and has not been seen since police say.

    Maya is described as being 5-foot, 3-inches tall and weighing about 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing black shorts and a black tube top.
