    Marry Me Chicken Recipe


    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • ½ cup chicken broth
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
    • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
    • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Prep the Chicken:
      • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
    2. Sear the Chicken:
      • Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
      • Sear the chicken breasts on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
    3. Make the Sauce:
      • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
      • Pour in the chicken broth, stirring to deglaze the pan.
      • Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
    4. Add Tomatoes and Chicken:
      • Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
      • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some sauce over each piece.
    5. Bake:
      • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
      • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
    6. Serve:
      • Garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve the chicken with the creamy sauce over pasta, rice, or a side of vegetables.
