    Two wanted for alleged retail theft scheme across NEPA

    LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two people are wanted after police say they stole multiple wallets and went on a shopping spree across NEPA.

    According to the Taylor Police Department and Dickson City Police, the two people pictured are accused of stealing wallets and using credit cards at multiple stores.

    Taylor police say the two stole a wallet at Walmart on Main Street on July 6. Then, in Dickson City, they were involved in a distraction theft at Marshall’s and went on a shopping spree with stolen credit cards, Dickson City officers stated.

    Investigators say they used the stolen credit cards at Best Buy and Walmart in Dickson City. A similar crime was also reported at Home Goods in Scranton.

    The two fled the area in a black mini-van where the plate looked to be a paper temporary one, police noted.
