Police K9 tracks burglary suspect hiding behind washing machine in basement
THOMPSON, Conn. (WWLP) – A Thompson, Connecticut man was arrested for burglary and drug charges Thursday after he was found hiding in a home’s basement. Connecticut State Police troopers were called to Brandy Hill Road around 11:39 a.m. on the Fourth of July for a report of a man walking through backyards of private homes. When troopers arrived they were informed that the suspect had run away from neighbors and possibly entered one home through a basement window.
Police identify driver, truck in deadly Smithfield hit-and-run
