American Idol viewers saw Megan Danielle go nearly all the way last year. Recently, Danielle celebrated another milestone when she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend.

‘American Idol’ Alum Shares Milestone On Social Media

The post showed a video of Walker’s two young sons each hand-delivering a bouquet of red roses to Danielle. Then, Walker takes a knee to pop the question. Her family cheers as she says “yes.” Once the applause dies down, Danielle shows off her ring and announces, “It fits!”

Danielle’s followers flooded the comments section to offer congratulations, including fellow American Idol alum Kaibrienne Richins, of season 22.

Idol viewers will likely recall Danielle’s love for Walker. The singer advanced to season 21’s Top 5 with a country-fied rendition of Alanis Morissette’s “Head Over Feet.” Danielle dedicated the performance to Walker, whom she called “amazing.”

    Who Will Replace Katy Perry?

It’s been nearly six months since Katy Perry announced her departure from American Idol, and the “Woman’s World” singer’s replacement is still anyone’s guess.

Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie have made up the show’s judging panel since ABC decided to reboot American Idol in 2018. Bryan has said publicly that Miley Cyrus, P!nk, and Meghan Trainor are currently “in the talks” to replace to replace Perry.

“It’s been something Disney been really tight-lipped about with me and Lionel and Ryan,” the country artist said. “We currently haven’t heard what the story is on who’s coming back, and if Lionel and I are coming back. I think Disney is just trying to figure out what they want to do and we’re just kind of sitting back and waiting until they decide.”
