Six teens convicted of setting fires at Mississippi school
The State Fire Marshal's Office announced Wednesday that six teenagers have been convicted of setting two separate fires at a vacant school in the Delta town of Drew. A Mississippi Insurance Department news release states the first fire was set on Oct. 14, 2023, at an abandoned school on Green Avenue in Drew. The Drew Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire, which caused "minimal damage."
