Amber Daige as the Cypress Springs Elementary School principal. “Creating opportunities for our leaders to grow is an important part of leading a vibrant organization like DSISD. Mrs. Raymond and Mrs. Daige are accomplished and innovative leaders steeped in the rich traditions of the Dripping Springs community. I know they will bring just as much vision, expertise and success to their new roles as their previous positions in the district and I am excited about the future for these campuses under their leadership,” Morris-Kuentz stated. Raymond previously served as the CSES principal for three years after opening the school, an assistant principal at Walnut Springs Elementary School, a teacher at Rooster Springs Elementary School and is now returning to DSES, where she previously served as a teacher and principal. With 19 years in DSISD, Raymond holds a Master of Arts in educational leadership and principal and superintendent certificates. Daige is entering her 15th year with DSISD and is currently serving as an assistant principle at WSES. Previously, she held positions, such as a classroom teacher, dyslexia specialist, reading interventionist and instructional coach. She earned her principal certification and additionally holds a Master of Education degree. Both will begin their roles in July.
