New Speed Limit in Albany
Most city streets have a max of 30 mph, but that is changing. The city speed limit will no longer be 30 mph in the City of Albany after the Common Council voted unanimously to lower the limit. On most city streets, the limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
Busy Clifton Park Intersection to be Replaced by Roundabout
This comes in anticipation of increased traffic in an already busy area. A busy intersection in Clifton Park will soon be getting a makeover. Where Clifton Park Center Road meets Sitterly Road already has a stoplight in place. Currently at the intersection is a Stewart's Shop, Ellis Urgent Care Center and the southeast entrance to Clifton Park Center Mall. Bass Pro Shop is expected to begin construction on its first store in the Capital Region in the same area.
