Hager Lifelong Education Center namesake has died
Former state Sen. Henry G. Hager III, for whom Pennsylvania College of Technology's Hager Lifelong Education Center is named, died June 27 at the age of 90. According to his obituary, a celebration of life will be held in the fall in Fort Myers, Florida, where he resided. Hager was a native of Williamsport and served in the Pennsylvania State Senate from 1973 to 1984. After retiring from the Senate, he was elected president and chief executive officer of the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania and served in that capacity for 16 years until his retirement in 1998.

Williamsport, Pa. — This year marks a new high for the Williamsport Crosscutters since their entry into the MLB Draft League.
