    Severe weather update

    The National Weather Service office in Duluth has updated the thunderstorm risk for the region for tonight and Thursday, with the most severe weather to include large hail and possible tornadoes in north-central and northeast Minnesota, and northwest Wisconsin. The highest risk area has shifted slightly eastward, according to the weather service.

    Price County is on the eastern fringe of the storm front, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected. There is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the weather service. The temperature could reach 81 degrees with a southwest wind around 10 mph, and gusts as high as 25 mph.

    On Wednesday night there is a 70% chance of rain. Expect showers and thunderstorms, some possibly severe, mainly before 3 a.m. The overnight low will be around 60 degrees.

    On Thursday the chance of precipitation is 20%. There may be isolated showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m., with a high near 77 degrees, and a gusty west wind.

    On Thursday night there is a 10% chance of precipitation with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible before 7 p.m. The overnight low will be around 49 degrees.
