    Two killed in Duncan motorcycle crash over the weekend

    STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla. ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A man and woman are dead after the motorcycle they were on collided with an SUV in Duncan on Sunday evening.

    According to the crash report from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at about 7:09 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the intersection of E 1770 Road and N 2800 Road in Duncan, Oklahoma.

    The crash report said a 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle with two occupants was traveling eastbound on E 1770 Road at a high rate of speed. The report said the motorcycle turned over and slid on its side, striking a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe.

    The driver of the motorcycle, Jackie D. Bryant, 41, of Duncan, and the passenger, Elizabeth M. Bryant, 45, of Duncan, were both pronounced dead at the scene by survival flight EMS. The driver of the Tahoe was not injured.

    The crash report lists the cause of the collision as unsafe speed on a curve or turn. The report said the condition of the motorcycle’s driver is under investigation.

    According to the crash report, helmets were not in use.
