More office space is being proposed for a mixed-use project in Dunwoody.

A mid-rise building called “The Stacks” would add 300,000 square feet of office space to Campus 244 , Atlanta Business Chronicle reports .

Campus 244 is a 12-acre adaptive-reuse project being developed by New York-based Georgetown Company and Atlanta-based real estate firm RocaPoint Partners . The project includes a 145-key hotel expected to open this fall and restaurants like Stäge Kitchen & Bar , which signed a lease at the development last year. The site includes the former Gold Kist headquarters, which was redeveloped into office space.

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill is designing the new office building, expected to have high ceilings, large windows and outdoor space.

Campus 244 is located near Perimeter Mall, the Dunwoody MARTA station and Interstate 285.

RocaPoint Partners is also the team behind Halcyon , a 135-acre mixed-use development in Alpharetta, as well as the PGA TOUR headquarters campus in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and Greenville County Square in Greenville, South Carolina.
