Lincoln Woman’s Death Investigation Has Been Closed
LINCOLN–(KFOR July 16)–The investigation into a Lincoln woman’s death after she fell out of a window in late March has been concluded. According to Lincoln Police, they were unable to determine what led up to the death of 58-year-old DeAnn Stover, who fell out of a window and was found unconscious at a home near 27th and Heide Lane on March 27. The autopsy determined Stover died from blunt force trauma from the fall.
Man accused of waving shotgun outside of People’s City Mission
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A man was arrested after waving a shotgun around the outside of People’s City Mission Help Center Friday afternoon, Lincoln Police said. Officers responded to the center around 4 p.m. after a caller reported that 38-year-old Joshua Johnson was waving a shotgun around while standing on top of a car. Police located Johnson on the north side of the building and he complied to verbal commands.
2 killed, 1 hurt in Otoe County crash
(Dunbar) – Two people were killed and a teenager was injured following a crash in Otoe County Friday. The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a two-vehicle crash around 6 a.m. on Highway 2 west of the Highway 67 intersection near Dunbar. An investigation shows 44-year-old Tommy Aldana of Nebraska City was driving eastbound on Highway 2 when his vehicle crossed the median and collided with a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Daniel Rys of Gary, Indiana.
