EASLEY — Moving Forward, a widowed persons group for Pickens County, was founded in 2004 by Marian Huskins and JoAnne Revis, and sponsored by Robinson Funeral Homes.

For the past 20 years the group has provided fellowship, understanding, companionship and support to those who have lost a spouse.

The group recently celebrated their 20th anniversary on June 8 at South & West Event Center in Easley where 61 widowed persons and guests enjoyed a great afternoon of delicious food, speakers and entertainment.

Moving Forward Group meets the second Tuesday of the month at Silver Bay Restaurant, 7027 Hwy 123, Easley, SC, at 5:30 p.m. All widowed persons are invited to our meeting and encouraged to come.

For further information call Marian Huskins at 864-270-6032.
