Throughout the years, we’ve seen this festival grow and evolve, with newer events like Empanada Fest while continuing to honor beloved traditions such as the Dragon Boat Races. It’s incredible to see the journey which has led to the multi-faceted celebration we have today. I feel a deep sense of pride and nostalgia thinking about the countless memories we’ve made together over the years, and I’m excited to see what this year has in store for all of us.
Trade Turns Out for Memorial Golf Tournament
Now in its fourth year, the Al Zannella Memorial Golf Tournament was hosted by the Zannella family at the Potowomut Golf Club in East Greenwich on July 22. Held in memory of Al “Z” Zannella, former Executive Vice President of Mancini Beverage who passed away in 2020, trade guests, family and friends enjoyed an afternoon of golf followed by a cocktail hour and dinner in the club’s Main Ballroom and Members’ Grill in what has become an annual celebration of Zannella’s legacy and impact in the business and on the community. Women’s Soccer Welcomes Indiana on Sunday Evening
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's soccer team will welcome Indiana on Sunday evening, kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and NESN. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at Brownbears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival. The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 14-year-old Hiram Perez-Lazu of Dorchester and is seeking assistance from the public. According to the official BPD website, Perez-Lazu was last seen on August 6th near Leonard Street in Dorchester.
