Lancaster County antique shop fire brings community together
COLUMBIA, Pa. (WHTM)– The clean-up is underway after a massive fire burnt a beloved antique shop in Lancaster County to the ground Thursday night. The York County SPCA is without power due to Tuesday night’s storms, and will not have power until this weekend. The current canine population is large, and the shelter is in dire need of emergency foster homes for the dogs until the power is restored. The York County SPCA will provide all resources for the foster parents including food, toys, crates, medication, and more.
Pride parade returns to Harrisburg LGBT festival after 12-year absence
After over a decade of absence, the Pride Festival of Central Pa. is bringing back the Pride parade as a part of its annual celebration. The parade debuted in 2006 and quickly became an important staple in the festival’s lineup. In 2011, however, it was canceled due to permit issues with the city of Harrisburg, according to the festival’s website.
Dauphin County Democratic chairwoman says she won’t resign
