Police: Woman’s body found in Lower Valley ‘suspicious’

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — El Paso Police say they are treating a body that was found in a Lower Valley neighborhood on Sunday morning, July 21 as “suspicious.”

Police responded at about 10 a.m. Sunday to Lafayette and Alameda about reports of a person laying in a vacant lot.

When officers arrived, they found a dead woman who is believed to be in her 30s.

The Crimes Against Persons and Criminalistics units are responding to assist with the investigation.

While the woman’s death is being treated as suspicious at this time, police do not know how she died, they said in a media alert.
