RNC: convention platform lacks policies to combat climate change
There is no mention of combating climate change in this year’s Republican Party platform. Instead, the party is calling for more oil and gas to be drilled in the U.S. Wisconsin conservative climate activist Benji Backer says that the party should be doing more to help the environment. 7 arrested in 'large-scale' Brown County drug trafficking bust
BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WLUK) -- Seven people have been arrested in what Brown County authorities call the dismantling of a "large-scale drug trafficking organization." Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain said the Brown County Drug Task Force, along with several police agencies across Northeast Wisconsin, including the FBI and DEA, spent six months on the investigation.
