On international Climate Emergency Day, young Milwaukeeans speak out
Monday was Climate Emergency Day. It’s an international call for action over the next five years to prevent catastrophic global warming. Wisconsin was represented. Nine rallies were staged throughout the state, including at the Capitol. One small but passionate contingent carpooled from Milwaukee to Madison to participate in the rally.
State Reaches Settlement with Manitowoc Business
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul has announced a settlement has been reached with a Manitowoc business that violated air laws. On Monday (July 22), Kaul said that Kerry Inc. must pay the $85,000 settlement to resolve violations of Wisconsin air laws related to its operation of a liquid smoke manufacturing facility in the city.

High-speed chase ends in Fond du Lac as stolen vehicle crashes into tree, two arrested
FOND DU LAC (WLUK) -- A man and a woman from Green Bay were arrested after a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle ended in Fond du Lac after the driver struck a tree. It started Sunday just before 6:30 p.m. when Wisconsin State Patrol spotted a stolen vehicle going south on I-41 near Breezewood Lane in Winnebago County.
