Scouts left out of postseason
XENIA — The Michigan Monarchs on Wednesday ended the year for the Xenia Scouts as they sat and scoreboard watched. The Monarchs took two of three from the Muskegon Clippers to finish in a tie for fourth place in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League standings with the Scouts at 17-19 overall. The Monarchs won the season series 4-2 over the Scouts to win the tiebreaker and be awarded the fourth and final postseason seed.

Ohio natives to look out for in 2024 Paris Summer Olympics
OHIO, USA — The 2024 Summer Olympics are almost here and there are plenty of Ohio natives to keep an eye on in Paris. According to Team USA, there are 17 athletes who qualified from the Buckeye State who will be sporting their red, white and blue. In a study done by LiveSportsOnTV, a website that provides schedules for streaming and TV sports, Ohio comes in 21st place in the country for the highest proportion of Olympians at the Paris games based on population size.
