QUINCY — “It was a normal day,” said Stacey Elliott of dropping her 2-year-old son off at daycare on June 24, but a phone call later would change everything. Shortly after leaving her son at Rodriguez Daycare, 320 C Street, Elliott received a call from a daycare staff member. Elliott was unable to take the call at work, so she texted the staff member instead and asked what was wrong. They told her that it was an emergency.
