The Tri-City Kitty Rescue is holding adoption events this weekend and next, leaders tell us they've already had multiple adoptions at Sunday's event. Eastern Idaho librarians implement a variety of methods to comply with new library law
POCATELLO — Librarians across eastern Idaho are using a variety of methods to comply with a law that restricts materials to minors. The law, which was reintroduced a number of times in the Legislature, was passed on April 3 and became enforceable on July 1. It makes it so that anyone can submit a “request for reconsideration” on a library item to have it moved to a section with restricted access to minors, defined as anyone under the age of 18.
